Florida 2.0 Initiative (FL2i) is focused on creating a digital social network for the State of Florida enabling collaboration among Florida’s leading business communities and between business and state government and economic development activities. The Executive Board provides oversight and direction for the Florida 2.0 organization and each of the Advisory Groups and their associated Florida business communities (Technology, Healthcare, Higher Education, Legal, Government, Digital Divide, Environment, Venture Capital, Economic Development, and Marketing).

MISSION STATEMENT: To create a technology-rich community, support technology entrepreneurship, and connect technology professionals in the Florida Gulf Coast Region.As a member of the Board I work to support the initiatives of 82 Degrees Tech and assist in various areas. As Chair of the Technology Entrepreneurship Committee, I successfully planned, produced, and hosted the first Tech Entrepreneurship workshop in 2006: Starting and Running a Successful Tech Company - Learn from the Experts.

MISSION STATEMENT: To create a technology-rich community, support technology entrepreneurship, and connect technology professionals in the Florida Gulf Coast Region.As President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of 82 Degrees Tech, I helped lead the organization in its business and technology community initiatives, worked to further establish community relationships, and spoke on behalf of the organization at formal events.

As an Independent Contractor, Mr. Frank offers CIO level consulting and services, strategic and tactical IT and Operations management on a project or interim basis through hands on operations, policy, procedures, standards and practice development.

Managed data center and technology infrastructure operations. Met business vision through IT strategic planning and consultation to top executive leadership. - Effectively managed multi-million dollar infrastructure technology capital and operating expense budgets- Directly supervised multiple IT teams/activities.- Managed relationships for all infrastructure technology needs including software and hardware vendors, voice and data services, phone systems, security and information protection services, and hosting/managed service providers.- Personally supported the company’s successful Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

As a principal member of the core engagement team on the Jackson Hewitt consulting project, worked directly with clients to build engagement relationships and set project direction.- Closely involved in all project life cycle phases such as requirements gathering, design, and implementation. Project solutions included business process improvement, introduction of new technologies, and computing systems and network reengineering.- Rebuilt Jackson Hewitt franchisee extranet and information exchange systems through site visits, business analysis, and iterative development.- Created new local area network and connectivity standards and policies for over 6,000 franchisee and company owned field locations.- Re-architected backend computing platforms

I held a number of positions, with progressively greater responsibilities, in the area of software development over the course of my employment with Arthur Andersen.- Sr. Systems Engineer/Manager of Applications Development: Effectively managed multiple application programming departments and coordinated development’s activities with other business operations.- Systems Engineer/Manager, Systems Architecture: Managed staff and projects for systems and application software development. - Program Manager: Project management and workflow triage- Staff and senior development positions - developed program code, designed software systems.
