Co-founder and CEO of Quantified Imaging, a spin-out from Nottingham University developing non-invasive physiological MRI for the diagnosis of dementia. I graduated from the University of Oxford in 2021 with a DPhil awarded for research into surface-based analysis of arterial spin labelling MRI, funded by the Bellhouse Scholarship at Magdalen College. I work best leading small teams and developing technologies from early proof-of-concept stage.

Co-Founder & Technical LeadVaximap Jan 2021 - PresentVaximap is a free online tool for optimising delivery of Covid-19 vaccinations. The beta was online 48 hours after project start. -
Research FellowUniversity Of Nottingham Jul 2022 - Oct 2023London, England, United KingdomResearch fellow spinning out a company for physiological MR imaging techniques (ASL and CEST). Responsibilities include market exploration, building customer relationships, finding commercial partners and technical development. This work is funded by Nottingham, Oxford and the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) -
Dphil Biomedical EngineeringUniversity Of Oxford Oct 2017 - Sep 2021Oxford, United KingdomBellhouse Scholar in Biomedical Engineering. Research project: anatomically informed Bayesian inference for physiological imaging. Adapted variational Bayesian inference procedures to enable surface-based analysis of arterial spin labelling data. This enables the measurement of perfusion which is an important marker of neurodegenerative disease. My project involved a substantial amount of new methods development, which is now either in publication or in review. I am experienced in both FSL and TensorFlow as a result of this work, and am comfortable with all parts of the medical image analysis workflow. -
Systems Integration Lead & Chief Morale OfficerOxvent Mar 2020 - Jun 2020Oxford, England, United KingdomOversaw system integration for Oxford University's emergency Covid-19 ventilator, of which the UK Government ordered 6,000 units. Also responsible for design verification data analysis, system calibration, and authoring multiple technical documents submitted to UK's healthcare regulator (MHRA). Partnered with Smith + Nephew UK for manufacturing, working closely with their operations team to reduce manufacturing time down to 45 seconds per unit. This project was awarded the 2020 Global Challenge innovation award from the Institute of Engineering and Technology. -
Maths TeacherIsle Of Sheppey Academy Sep 2012 - Jul 20131 year "Teach First"-style pre-university placement. I taught students on the C/D borderline and also gifted & talented for GCSE.
