My recent experience includes assisting a renowned book publicist and bestselling novelist, bookselling at Barnes and Noble’s second biggest location, and managing reception and social media in higher ed. I have worked as a writing consultant, staff writer, and copyeditor.In college I served as Publisher of Wilde Press, a non-profit publisher that releases four new titles a year. Additionally, I was a resident assistant and worked for nine different literary, lifestyle, and fashion magazines. My internship experience includes book rights and permissions, marketing, editorial, sales, and digital media for the Boston Book Festival, multiple top publishers, a literary agency, a land conservation nonprofit, a NY lifestyle magazine, and a software company.My awarded fiction, poems, and essays have been featured in The Other Side and Shattered Veil anthologies and over twenty magazines, including catapult, Collective Realms, Cabinet of Heed, Blind Corner, and Sonder.As a graduate student, I was my department's Employee of the Year and won first place at the student writing awards for a short story (horror) and a business proposal in queer speculative publishing.
