About Tom Garbutt

I have always been interested in how I can support teachers, pupils and families with their lives 'outside' the classroom to ensure the best outcomes for all. Teaching and Parent Support roles in attendance and behaviour across Merseyside and North Yorkshire meant working with the most talented and passionate colleagues, which was a huge privilege.So too was the opportunity to co-create Pobble, an edtech platform to support writing in schools. This gave me decade of wonderful experiences; how to operate an online business in all departments, pivoting our offering during the pandemic, mastering a vast array of digital productivity tools, management systems and so on. Would I do it all again? Well...of course I would! I just look a little older than my profile pic now...Onto the next chapter, bringing all that experience to Customer Success at Juniper Education. It is fascinating to now be part of a dedicated team really honed in on one aspect of the business - the most important in my view!Outside of the classroom, I still stagger around football/cricket pitches every Saturday afternoon refusing to believe I'm now a 'Veteran'. Watching my lads on a Sunday trying to emulate their old man and coaching my clubs' ladies football team also gives me a great deal of satisfaction.
