Tom works to maximize the upside of each client’s real estate deal, whether it is a corporation seeking new space to operate it business, an investor looking to capitalize on a real estate investment, or a developer leasing out a new shopping mall. He understands the importance of completing deals quickly and smoothly so that each client achieves its financial goals. At the same time, Tom focuses on minimizing the risk to clients inherent in all deals. HANDLING ALL ASPECTS OF THE REAL ESTATE DEAL CYCLE Tom provides strategic advice and transactional help on all types of real estate matters. He provides sophisticated advice on deal structure and deal terms. And he negotiates and prepares the transactional documents necessary to secure and close deals from acquisitions, divestments, leasing, development, easements, sale/leaseback transactions, and financing. HELPING CORPORATIONS WITH THEIR REAL ESTATE NEEDSRETAIL DEVELOPMENT: Tom has represented landlords and tenants in connection with the development and leasing of retail shopping centers including stand-alone developments, in-line retail developments, and mall developments. HEALTH CARE: Tom has spent significant time working with clients in the health care industry including working on expansions of facilities and opening up suburban medical office locations.OIL & GAS: He represented a global oil company in the sale and franchising of over 200 corporate owned and operated service stations. Tom also works with manufacturing and industrial clients in the sale and acquisition of facilities.HELPING INVESTORS WITH THEIR REAL ESTATE NEEDSTom helps investors manage their retail portfolios. From acquisitions to sales, he focuses on the client’s need to maximize its return on investment including the quick and smooth closing of deals and utilizing of like-kind exchanges.
