Having been with FileNet/IBM for over twenty-two years I have proven myself as an outstanding manager. I started with FileNet as the District Systems Manager for the Southwest District, a position I held for almost eleven years. I had a reputation for hiring outstanding personnel, making good business decisions and running a problem free operation. Moving into the role of National Professional Services Coordinator for North American Sales, I showed my ability to develop marketing programs and work with sales teams to increase Professional Services sales by 40%. In 1998 I moved from sales to Professional Services and was instrumental in the conception, implementation, and staffing of the Professional Services Practice Management function and managed the Western Region Practice Managers to a very successful 1999. The following year I became the OEM Product Manager for Professional Services where I negotiated several third party reseller agreements and successfully launched those products. Joining Product Marketing in 2001, I completed a major strategic alliance relationship and created the Technology ISV Partner Program, which I still manage. Prior to FileNet, my almost 40-year career (32 in various management positions) includes eight years with Tandem Computers, the last two as the Western Region Systems Manger and eight years with Burroughs Corporation. I hold an MBA degree from USC with an emphasis in Organizational Theory.
