Careers can take unexpected turns. Mine did and allowed me to become a well-versed generalist, augmenting my technical skills as an engineer with a unique mix of expertise in consumer understanding, international greenfield business development, global M&A integration management and ESG management. I graduated as an agricultural engineer in a long gone past and joined P&G immediately after. During my 10 years with P&G, I developed a broad experience in global consumer understanding and innovation research. I continued to pursue this specific interest when working with some of the leading market research agencies such as Synovate (Ipsos) and TNS. I joined InSites Consulting in 2008 where I had a variety of different international roles. As a Research Director, I leveraged my skills in market research, qualitative and quantitative data curation, insight and concept development to help global brands develop insights and innovation strategies that connect with consumers. As the Managing Director UK, I have been responsible for the overall management, growth and profitability of InSites Consulting’s operations in the UK. And coinciding with the acceleration of our global expansion via an intensive Buy & Build program in 2018, I was appointed Chief Integration Officer and have led the integration of the 9 agencies joining forces with InSites Consulting. Ultimately, this has allowed InSites Consulting to become Human8. Finally, I laid the foundations of ESG management for Human8 as global Head of ESG with the ambition to become a B-Corp accredited company. I am based in Ghent (Belgium) and I love winning a game of padel, playing my guitar, cooking my stew and drinking my Italian wine.
