I've long been involved in the testing and development of numerous face-to-face strategy games in my spare time including creation and fulfilment of the hugely successful Kickstarter campaign for the whimsical fantasy skirmish game "Moonstone" in 2017. Following from this success I've elevated Goblin King Games from a hobby business to a thriving start-up with global retail distribution and in excess of 1000 currently-active regular players.

Foundry46 provides professional and specialist services across the tech startup domain. This ranges from supporting new entrepreneurs and exploring IP exploitation, through to investment due-diligence and corporate spin-outs. Whilst our expertise is centred around media, advertising and emerging technologies, the lessons learnt are applicable to all new ventures.As part of my role here I offered UI Design and UX Expertise on a contract basis to local tech start-ups.

Sorenson Foundry was a technology start-up incubator and I was a founding member of the team taking overall responsibility for all visual and creative decisions. We operated following lean principals and our work involved rapidly (in)validating new concepts, product development and preparation for seed funding. My principal roles were concept creation, user interface design, user experience testing, market research, product branding, creating presentation slide decks and videos as well as acting as Product Owner during periods of prototype software development.
