National Operations Lead for Dillon's Environmental Sciences Technical Group of nearly 200 professional staff including biologists, geoscientists, and environmental engineers. Responsibilities include: quarterly work flow and revenue forecasting, recruitment and approval of new staff hires, management of training and professional development resources, and facilitating staff mobility and resourcing needs.As a technical specialist and environmental engineer with over 20 years of experience, I continue to support clients in the assessment, management and redevelopment of contaminated sites (and closed landfills), in the application of approvals for the remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater, in litigation support related to contaminated site files, and in the financial reporting (e.g., SOX/IFRS) of environmental liabilities and asset retirement obligations for publicly traded corporations.

As an environmental consultant and previously as an environmental contractor, I have developed an in-depth understanding of construction site development and environmental remediation. In addition to being a licensed engineer in Ontario and the Northwest Territories, I am registered as a Qualified Person for environmental site assessments with the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks and I am a member of the National Ground Water Association. Much of my work has been in the fields of remediation of contaminated sites, demolition projects, implementation of risk management measures, landfill design and construction, long term monitoring of contaminated sites and landfills and detailed contaminant delineation. At Dillon, we continue to investigate new technologies and where they might provide value to the client and to the industry.As a representative of the client, I participate in meetings with regulators and stakeholders whether as a preemptive measure or in response to an environmental concern to discuss the needs for further assessment and or mitigation options.Over my 20+ years of experience I've worked for a variety of sectors including transportation, real estate, manufacturing, property management, mid-stream oil&gas, refineries, power generation and governments throughout Canada and internationally.In 2009 I obtained my LEED AP certification with the Canada Green Building Council to support brownfield developments. In 2016, I also completed courses in Risk Management Principles and Practices, Risk Assessment and Treatment, and Risk Financing.
