Sales ManagerFraser Timber Llc Apr 2013 - Jan 2015Greater Boston AreaSales Manager for mill production at Fraser Timber LLC in Masardis, ME.Selected Contributions:• Contributed to 30% increase in EBITDA over plan by using proper pricing discipline.• Added or re-established 25 new customers– I Joined Fraser in April 2013. At the time most of their sales were to a small group of customers. I was challenged to expand the customer base and find more profitable channels. I was also challenged to find more profitable ways to sell our less desirable products. I added or revitalized 25 new customers and increased sales by over 10 million board feet to that group. I also established pricing guidelines that would ensure optimal pricing. We increased our EBITDA by 30% due in large part to higher sales volume and higher pricing. When I joined Fraser I inherited an inventory problem. The mill inventory was 7 million board feet more than it is today which tied up $2.4 million in working capital. By adding new customers and focusing on inventory reduction I starting decreasing inventory immediately. It took almost a year to get the inventory levels in line and this freed up $2.4 million in working capital and also contributed to our 30% EBITDA increase.
