For more than 30 years, I have served boards and committees of public and private companies as a lawyer, executive, and corporate director. I bring deep experience in launching, growing, and governing large-scale public companies for a broad range of industries (retail, entertainment, automotive, healthcare, and waste management) across corporate legal functions, board governance, SEC compliance, accounting and finance, M&A, and risk management. I thrive on guiding boards of directors on complex problems while driving consensus for the decision-making process.My career has spanned leading legal departments, corporate development teams, and other functions at three Fortune 500 companies, including Blockbuster Entertainment Corporation, AutoNation, and Republic Services. The combination of my financial and legal skills helped propel the rapid expansion of these businesses, and I served an integral role in key acquisitions and high-profile deals. Currently, I am a member of the Board of Directors of MSP Recovery, Inc. (NASDAQ: LIFW), a Medicare, Medicaid, commercial and secondary reimbursement recovery and technology leader, and serve as Chair of the Audit Committee. I am also a member of the Board of Directors of SMX (Security Matters) Public Company (NASDAQ: SMX), a company specializing in technology solutions for product authentication, anti-counterfeit, and track and trace markets. I serve on the Risk and Audit Committee at SMX.Additionally, I serve as the Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee for the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan, and I am a member of the Law Board and the Executive Law Board for Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. Previously, I served on the Board of Directors for Lionheart III Corp. (NASDAQ: LIONU), Lionheart Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ: LCAP), and a private equity management company.I hold a JD from Northwestern University and an AB in Political Science and Accounting from the University of Michigan, with High Honors and Distinction.
