Tom Hayden is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry. Prior to starting Peak Economics Research & Consulting, he held key positions at esteemed organizations Metrostudy, Hanley Wood, Meyers Group, and Zonda in a mix of advisory, data platform, and leadership roles throughout his career. Within his Advisory practice, Tom has balanced a national, regional, and local focus, providing clients on-the-ground services throughout the U.S. in 15 states and over 60 metro areas, with specific attention to the Colorado markets and Mountain region. He has led and conducted over 800 studies within Colorado, and more than 1,100 across the country. Aside from a three-year work relocation to Southern California between 2003 and 2006, Tom has resided in Colorado since 1990 living in Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, and the Greater Denver area. Tom has consulted on a wide array of development and his analysis regularly involves strategic planning, market and financial feasibility, economic and demographic forecasting, product positioning and planning, consumer analysis, demand modeling, as well as overall market evaluation and opportunity analysis.In Leadership roles, Tom has built teams, developed processes, and delivered results throughout his career since becoming a regional manager in his mid-20s. Most recently, he built the local Colorado advisory practice up by more than 180% from its previous high. Prior to acquisition, as the national director for Metrostudy, he worked across the organization to develop strategies, establish KPIs and process, recruit talent, and rebuild the advisory brand. Thanks to his national team, this included a one-year 40% gain in revenue following strategy implementation, and owning team performance and P&L, with a 34% PM.Tom lives in the Denver area with his wife and children. Personally, Tom has made it a personal mission to raise awareness of cancer prevention, support patients and family care, and spread hope. He has worked with numerous cancer-related charities and is active in encouraging continued research advances and shares his story of life transformation after surviving cancer at age 31. Tom has been recognized as a Bill Phillip’s Transformation Special Honors/Champion Finalist (2010), MyLifeLine Ambassador (2010), Tough Mudder Most Respect Award (2011), American Cancer Society Hero of Hope (2011), and Heartlight Center Honoree (2012).
