Organising an event, 'Trauma Matters', featuring a range of speakers and performers, including the public intellectual and renowned speaker and author Dr Gabor Maté and a range of musicians.

• Negotiated and secured publishing deals on behalf of two authors; • Preparing every aspect of the work to maximise the chances of finding a publisher, including writing proposals, meeting publishers, negotiating terms, drafting prefaces and promotional material on behalf of authors.

• Campaigning for the UK and EU parliaments to implement the law and pursue justice in the Middle East, with a particular focus on refugees• Responsible for drafting and implementing communications strategy, writing briefings for key political figures, reports on CEPR activities and a daily Middle East news roundup• Liaised with parliamentarians and built relationships with senior figures at international bodies including the EU and UN• Responsible for organising parliamentary delegations to the Middle East. Coordinated follow-up work and report back meetings in parliament and developed crucial political and media relationships.

Worked for Martin Linton, MP for Battersea. Provided briefings on national policy issues and current bills. Advised on courses of action and identified key campaign areas. Tackled issues raised by constituents which required liaising with national and local government departments. Worked closely with constituency and parliamentary colleagues and undertook immigration and housing casework when staff members were away.
