Dragon Valves is a manufacturer of small (less than 4 inch nominal pipe size) Specialty, Commercial and ASME N-Stamp Valves. In my role as Director, I design valves to various national and international standards and codes and plant specific specifications; perform work which meets stringent Quality Assurance program requirements such as ASME N-Stamp program surveys and European standards. Qualify Registered Professional Engineers to perform valve design calculation activities; review and approve Project documents such as process sheets and disposition Inspection Discrepancy Reports. Perform root cause failure analysis and research new design features which will make Dragon valves more attractive to the burgeoning Nuclear Industry.

•Strategic Consulting, including academic curriculum development, conceptual through detailed design reviews of new or present plant modifications, nuclear safety culture assessment, development and remediation as well as strategy development for the economic advancement of Nuclear Technology.

Senior Manager responsible for SAP 6.x aspects of Enterprise Information Management and Controls. Data, Information and Knowledge Management planning and implementation for SAP/Legacy IT applications.

Senior-level manager for the Design and Procurement Engineering sections of the Design Engineering group. The Design section is directly responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and control of all plant engineering drawings, prints, and diagrams. This group function includes both manual-draft and computer-aided design development processes and, involves a complex array of networked (LAN, WAN, VPN, and public domain) equipment, services, applications, and resources. The Procurement Engineering section is directly responsible for all processes which assure the continued supply of qualified and reliable components and parts for a large two-unit reactor power plant. This group analyzes replacement and substitute component/part requirements and, shares design authority for plant configuration changes. This section is also responsible for the analysis, qualification and control of electrical components that may be subjected to harsh environmental conditions (heat, humidity, radiation, seismic activity, etc.) while in service. Directly control annual budgets up to $ 7M with a reporting staff of up to 50 people. This group analyzed replacement and substitute component/part requirements and, shared design authority for plant configuration changes. Converted previous engineering processes to support the requirements of NRC Generic Letter 91-05, including the design, construction and startup of an extensive testing laboratory (10,000 sq. ft. facility). This Generic Letter effectively mandated 100% verification of component and piece part safety functions. Directly controlled annual budgets up to $5M with a reporting staff of up to 50 people.
