Commonwealth Games AustraliaLed the Gold Coast 2018 Australian Team member evaluation that included the design and development build of an online survey. Analysis of the response data was undertaken and provided in a detailed report with key themes and opportunities for improvement for the next Commonwealth Games. Presentation of the key outcomes, recommendations and ensuing discussion was held with the Team Executive and other leadership staff within Commonwealth Games Australia.

Strategically lead and manage the national high performance program including all senior and junior programs, Australian teams, high performance partnerships and the recruitment and development of coaches and staff.Key achievements;* Development and implementation of High Performance strategies including Talent Development initiatives for the period 2013 – 2020 which led to a significant increase of federal government investment for the sport and renewed development pathway opportunities* Creation of strong stakeholder relationships and alignment of key State Institutes of Sport that subsequently increased resource investment to the sport of water polo for the 2017-20 quadrennial. * Overall leadership of senior national teams that produced the women's program Olympic Games Bronze, World Championships Silver, World Cup Silver, multiple World League Silver and Bronze medals, World University Games Gold and numerous breakthrough results for the men’s program.* Establishment of the sports High Performance Department including recruitment of internationally renowned Head Coaches, department staff and performance support teams as well as all related agreements, policies and procedures to ensure appropriate governance structures were in place to support the national program and respective national teams.* Introduction of a coach development framework aligned with best practice modelling from research on the world’s best coaches across various Olympic sports that included system wide coach education and individual planning tools adopted by all national and state institute program coaches* Creation, development and implementation of a talent development initiative for 100 next generation athletes with 30 coaches and support staff for training, competition and educational development activities* Procurement of national program supplier contracts for consecutive Olympic cycles across apparel and equipment

Lead and manage the universities sport development department including high performance programs, university games, Macquarie University sport clubs and social sport provided for the student population and local community.Key achievements;* Implementation of a performance focused approach to University Games representation including the introduction of professional coaches, athlete and team selection criteria and pre-tournament training preparation that resulted in an improved performance at Australian University Games* Creation and delivery of revamped Macquarie University Blues Awards that resulted in a significant increase in program profile, participation and prestige driving renewed engagement from senior university leadership

Coordination of national and state sporting organisation partnered sports programs, while providing strategic support to NSWIS coaches to assist the program and athletes success both on and off the field.Key achievements;* Coordinated the integration of the Cycling Australia Women’s Track Endurance Program and NSWIS Cycling program under the dual Head Coach who led the program to a Team Pursuit World Championship Gold medal during this period.* Established a regional hub based at Newcastle University for women’s football program partnering with the Newcastle Jets, Football NSW and The Forum sport and recreation facility.
