About Tom Hill
A highly experienced and versatile media and communications professional with a strong background in broadcasting, business and education, I have worked as a writer, reporter, producer, media trainer, broadcaster, analyst and academic.I enjoy working with people and creating innovative solutions to help them learn new skills or communicate their message more effectively.In the past I worked for ITN, Sky News and the BBC and I remain an unflappable and deadline-driven producer of cross-platform content. As a university lecturer, I was always a strong believer in learning through practice combined with critical reflection. In order to achieve these aims I was instrumental in moving television news teaching from the classroom and into the newsroom, studio and gallery.
