I see the general availability of cloud solutions and infrastructure as the key factor in enabling businesses to grow and flourish in the post GFC time.I believe in understanding the business, and choosing the best solution to address those needs, not trying to find a business use for a given technology. 20 years in the IT industry has taught me that you can have the best technological solution in the world, but if an organizations culture isn’t ready to accept that solution, it will fail.
