As the Customer Experience Centre Specialist at Ricoh UK I am responsible for leading the customer experience by taking customers round the London showroom and office floor, where they are able to see live examples of how Ricoh UK puts their service lines into practice. During this two-year span as the Product Marketing Support Apprentice I provided administrative support to the Product Marketing team within Ricoh UK. My duties included, but were not limited to:- Updating and maintaining databases with product and environmental information- Overseeing the process of handling and submitting requests for third party items to be set up in our systems- Acting as a communication medium between Ricoh UK and Ricoh Europe- Diagnosing and resolving queries within Ricoh UK ordering systems - Undertaking specific internal projects set by my manager, requiring initiative and creativity.In 2018 I undertook a Level 4 CIM qualification in Marketing, broken down into three module: Marketing, Internal Communications and Digital Marketing. i am currently awaiting my results on the Digital Marketing Module. Completing this course, as well as undertaking my work within Ricoh UK, has greatly helped me develop my knowledge of marketing and how a large organisation operates, as well as improving my office and interpersonal skills. From July 2018 I have taken on a new role within Ricoh UK as Marketing Operations Support Executive.

My first full-time role was held working as a glazier at Window Repair Geeks, a family organisation run by my Father. Taking on this role presented me with a new challenge in working with family, as well as working in a completely new environment in a trade. My duties in this role included:- Assisting in the measuring, pricing and quoting of repairs of double glazing or window or door hardware- Diagnosing faults with window and door hardware- Repairing and/or replacing window and door hardware- Communicating with customers and suppliers both over the phone and face-to-face- Scheduling quotes and jobs with customers This role helped build upon the communication and interpersonal skills I had began to develop at Waitrose, building my confidence communicating and working with both customers and suppliers.

As a Sales assistant at Waitrose, my main duties were to replenish stock on the shop floor, conduct stock checks in the warehouse and provide any assistance a customer may need in-store. The John Lewis Partnership prides itself on providing exceptional customer service, which gave me the opportunity to develop my customer-facing skills and bench-mark myself against the high-quality standards of the environment I was working in. My role at Waitrose, although part time, provided me with training, that would set my personal standards of customer service, that I would strive to deliver in any future role I would hold.
