Working for an international charity in the careers division under the National Careers Service contract to deliver careers information, advice and guidance to 18+ in the South Devon area. My duties include;• One to one career interviews to deliver advice and guidance, including employability, education, skills, training, career reviewing, career planning and apprenticeships• Creating, preparing and delivering group information within employability and careers• Motivational interviewing to motivate and inspire clients to take control of their own careers• Creating efficient action plans to help motivate and record client actions• Managing own diary to create availability for bookings• Organising workshops with stakeholders to provide required services• Networking with other organisation and professionals to gain business development opportunities• Using Social Media (Facebook and LinkedIn) to promote the service, research information and network• Tracking customers to offer extra guidance and to record progression• Liaising with stakeholders to provide updates and continuous business

Working for the prime contractor for the National Careers Service delivery in the South England, my role was to support the Sussex Careers Advisers with all administration and compliance. My duties included;• Collate paperwork from 14 Careers Advisers on a weekly basis and check for compliance and quality against Education Skills Funding Agency funding rules• Running reports to identify errors made on the in-house customer database and correcting errors where needed• Liaising with Careers Advisers to assist in their day to delivery, preparing resources and answering queries• Recording figures into spreadsheets• Building and maintaining spreadsheets for management reporting• Working alongside Assistant Director to create a new process to manage and reduce the customer attendance rates• Preparing and delivering training to Careers Advisers and other staff to improve staff knowledge• Supporting other Business Support Coordinators and other members of the team during absence• Recording client information confidentially and sensitively• Preparing for and attending career related events such as job fairs where I support advisers and promote the service
