Eritis was formed to allow me to focus on what I enjoy most – solving technical problems for people.

I took a well-deserved career break to recharge and focus on my family, looking after my young daughters on daily basis whilst my wife renewed her own career.

Following the successful acquisition of Hitec (Laboratories) Ltd by Mitratech, my role expanded to include further responsibility for a new product, CMO, managing development teams in America, Russia, and India.

As a member of Hitec’s senior management team, I headed up product and customisation development, leading and mentoring multiple in-house development teams in Slough and Swansea. Initially there were further offshore development teams in India that I was also responsible for. This was a more strategic role, but I still got involved on a technical level as.

Principal architect and lead developer for DataStoreDSX, a ground up rewrite of Hitec’s primary product line. I implemented an agile development process and tools with all Hitec’s development teams.

I architected and developed the very successful ds32.net, elements of which became the published API for DataStore, leading to large amounts custom system integration work.

I was recruited as an internet specialist, advising Hitec and its customers on internet facing development, configuration and security.

I worked at this small ISP when the internet just started to move from academia to the commercial realm.
