Team Lead - Nordic Region & Israel• Main responsibilities include analysing companies from a corporate governance perspective, based on ISS guidelines, market best practice recommendations, and the market regulatory environment• Formulating vote recommendations for various general meeting resolutions, for example, board elections, incentive plans, M&A deals, and ESG-related proposalsCoverage: Mainly Nordic companies and, during certain periods, also UK listed companies and occasionally Israeli companies• Utilising ISS’ benchmarking tools to rate companies and ensure that the underlying methodology serves to efficiently and effectively identify ownership risks• Engaging with issuers to obtain information needed for various levels of analysis• Implementing various ad hoc projects such as creating a remuneration database, drafting consultation responses to, for example, corporate governance boards and the Basel committee, organising the intern recruitment process, co-heading the drafting of the European Voting Results Report 2010 and 2011, and developing ISS'​ first standalone policy for Israel in 2014 • In 2013 I also took on the informal role of ISS' European executive remuneration expert and I have since then been responsible for monitoring executive reward trends on a European level and developing, for example, a pay-for-performance model
