I have been working in education for 11 years in various positions.As a teacher, I have worked in a variety of schools, always striving give my best and live up to expectations of my students. My goal as a teacher of physics is to encourage my students to develop their own way of thinking, to be tolerant towards others, and to encourage an objective and free exchange of thoughts. I am also trying to instill in them the basic principles of physics and to show them how they are used in everyday life.I am proud to say that most of my students have learned to love physics, and a considerate number of them have taken official state exam, scoring over 80% on average.I have also been an editor of physics textbooks for two years in Školska knjiga Zagreb. According to official data,my textbooks for elementary schools are used by over 60, and those for secondary schools by over 45% of students. On average, I have managed to surpass the previous record by 5 %.As an editor, I have also worked on other physics related books, such as:- a collection of lectures of Richard Feynman- "My inventions", an autobiography of Nikola Tesla-"Einstein" by Walter Isaacson.One of my duties as an editor was to coordinate work on interactive material for students, and on electronic versions of textbooks incorporated in "Mozabook" education platform.
