Key Responsibilities:Design of progressive and transfer dies: Conceptualizing and developing progressive die designs, optimizing tool performance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Selecting materials, tooling, and manufacturing methods.Fixture Design: Creating fixtures and jigs for checking, welding, machining, and fabrication.Maintenance Engineering: Maintaining, optimizing, and upgrading aging tools and power presses.3D Design in CATIA V5: Creating and managing complex assembly designs, implementing top-down design, and utilizing shape and surface design techniques.Simulation Analysis: Utilizing STAMPACK to simulate sheet metal forming and deep drawing processes, ensuring design validation and quality.2D Drawing and Engineering Documentation: Creating detailed 2D drawings and other engineering documentation.Designing tools and fixtures in accordance with customer GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) requirements
