Mechanical Technician Supervisor:- Procurement of mechanical and piping materials including quantity take-offs, purchasing, expediting, receipt, warehousing and storage;- Certification of mechanical and piping components;- Provide traceability, certification documentation, and procurement control of piping components to ensure that material composition and mechanical properties meet the required specifications;- Provide piping material components with requiring PMI;- Certification review and acceptability;- Examine and inspect shop pressure testing, examine welding, visually examine special finish surfaces;- Pressure - test the piping systems to ensure integrity of the system;- Coordinate erection, join and install shop fabricated spools and fabricate and install threaded piping;- Implement and coordinate field fabrication of welded pipe;- Supply required materials, the shop and field fabrication and erection of pressure piping in accordance with applicable drawings comprising of isometrics, fabrication details, special support details and miscellaneous additional drawings;- Implement and coordinate field installation and mechanical completion of rotating equipment, associated piping and appurtenances; and- Visually inspect all equipment received at site for completeness against the vendor’s packing document to ensure that no obvious damage has occurred during transit.
