I graduated in medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. Currently, I am engaged in my doctoral research at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), in the Division of Clinical Epidemiology and Aging Research.My research is centered on the important field of cancer survivorship, with a specific focus on understanding and addressing cancer-related fatigue and the challenges faced by colorectal cancer patients in their ability to work and return to work after treatment.The goal of my work is to contribute to the improvement of life and work conditions for cancer survivors, by gaining a deeper insight into post-treatment recovery and the reintegration process into the workforce. At DKFZ, I am committed to advancing our knowledge in this area, aiming to positively impact the lives of those affected by cancer.
