I started my journey with State Street in March 2016. I entered the organization at entry level and have been promoted three times in my career at State Street. Currently as an Officer I manage the Deal Processing Team in Transfer Agency which is responsible for processing investor trades in a fast-paced Investment fund environment. My team is also responsible for moving money between Transfer Agency and Custody. In my current role I oversee a team of direct reports and support a team of 20 Associates based offshore in India. As part of my job, I am a point of escalation for my team where various issues or errors are brought to my attention. Any delay in the reports that my team provides to our clients could result in significant financial implications. As such the expectation is that I analyze the issue in a timely manner and provide guidance so that the clients are not impacted, and any financial exposure is avoided.
