Tom Cleary serves as the Head of Investment Banking for the Americas at Options Group. He leads the Global Banking and Markets Practice and conducts a broad range of senior-level searches across the financial services industry. His areas of search expertise include mergers and acquisitions; general corporate finance; restructuring; leveraged finance; debt and equity capital markets; private equity; and infrastructure. Tom is also a member of the Private Equity Practice where he has completed searches for funds and their portfolio companies, including investment leaders, senior fundraising professionals, capital markets professionals, operating partners and advisors. Tom has over 25 years experience in executive search and has placed over 200 professionals. He has an impeccable track record in advising and leading the execution of human capital initiatives for global and regional investment banks, boutique advisory firms, private credit investors and specialist investment funds. He has led senior-level search mandates, including individual target hires, team build outs and whole-business acquisitions and has successfully led and executed several consulting projects focused on competitor intelligence and overall market analysis. Several of these projects directly resulted in transformational changes in strategy and/or organizational structures for clients. They also resulted in improved operating efficiency, and increased market share and profitability. Tom is known for his judgment, integrity, domain expertise and ability to navigate the nuances of complex deal execution. Prior to joining Options Group, he ran his own firm as Managing Partner at Landfall Partners, LLC. Tom and his wife live in Connecticut and have three children.
