Instructional Content Producer / Digital Media Manager

Led the day-to-day operations and long-term expansion of the Global Educational Outreach for Science Engineering and Technology (GEOSET) initiative created by Nobel laureate Sir Harry W. Kroto. A full-service video production studio within FSU Libraries, GEOSET offers university educators and students free access to media consultation, production, and training services. Duties include studio manager, project consultant, project manager, producer, videographer, video editor, voice actor, and graphic designer as needed. GEOSET operates with a focus on providing the academic community with access to media services and training for research presentation, instruction, and social advocacy.+ Trained staff in providing creative media and instructional services to FSU students and faculty+ Expanded services from solo end-to-end media production to include eLearning content creation, software workshops, live-streamed event production, and hybrid event planning for events like FSU Critical Thinking Symposium+ Produced broadcasts for events such as Panhandle Academic Libraries Conference, with simultaneous live streams for keynotes and breakaway sessions+ Designed asynchronous training modules and eLearning content for academic instruction and professional development+ Created and facilitated a series of 7 training workshops centered on eLearning content creation, spanning use of recording techniques, creative software, and navigating publishing platforms+ Cultivated a campus-wide network of collaborators, subject matter experts, and other partners across FSU to aid in projects and provide expert referrals to patrons+ Produced and hosted Academically Distanced, a 6-episode video podcast interviewing students, staff, and faculty about life and learning during COVID-19
