Managing industrial automation projects, focused on (harbor) cranes around the world. Siemens builds drives and engineers software to create (fully) automated (transshipment) cranes to efficiently load and/or unload cargo containers.

The goal is to make a building (e.g. hospital, hotel, congress centre) more energy efficient. This can be done by replacing pumps, ventilation systems, lighting systems etcetera. By combining the most efficient hardware with top of the bill software, a remote service will monitor energy use and provide active feedback to increase energy efficiency.This can result in an overall energy saving of 10-40%.

Managing projects for upgrading, implementing, or renovation of Siemens Building automation equipment. Also taking the Building Management System into account.Main tasks: taking care of existing customers, make sure the different people within and outside Siemens do cooperate to minimize the run time and maximize the result of the project.

Giving companies and government tailor-made advice about everything concerning energy; from ways to become more energy efficient to advice regarding indoor climate problems.Always updated about the latest techniques and the cost-effectiveness of these developments.Also involved in energy monitoring projects to give users of a building an insight in their energy use. Also important to give (facility)managers a tool for effective ways of reducing energy use.

Master Thesis on the possibilities of driving on Natural Gas. The project involved application of driving on natural gas on several levels of scale. Backed up by case studies, scenarios about the potential/possible role of driving on natural gas in the Netherlands were performed.
