Each region of Scotland has an Area Tourism Partnership (“ATP”). At a fundamental level, their role is to improve collaboration to optimise tourism opportunities in their Region. This is developed with reference to the Scottish Government’s 'Tourism Framework for Change' which sets out the national strategy for the next decade and is the key strategic document into which all regional and local tourism strategies should fit.The Scottish Borders Tourism Partnership (SBTP) is a collective of public and private sector businesses who have a vested interest in ensuring the tourism industry in the Scottish Borders is thriving.The SBTP has representatives for all sectors; activities, visitor attractions B&B, self catering, hotel & guest house, food & drink and retail.
