InSite Technical Services Ltd (InSite) formed in December 2014 from the former Milford Haven Refinery’s engineering and management team. InSite operate in three business areas: Project Design and Engineering; Operational Services; and Technical Consultancy. All of these services are provided from our base in Pembroke Dock.We are currently undertaking multiple projects including conceptual studies, FEED packages and detailed design for a number of local clients.Aditionally we have provided technical consultancy services both locally and internationally.

Milford Haven Refinery

Tom was Operations Manager for the Murco Milford Haven Refinery for over 3 years before being made redundant following the cessation of Refining activities. The Operations Manager position included responsibility for the operation of the tank farm, road and rail loading and Jetty, as well as the process units.Tom led the Operations team in achieving an exceptional record in safety, environment and reliability in the same period as significantly widening the Refineries Crude slate and maintaining production targets and planned outages.Tom also led the Operations team through the final shutdown of the Refinery, and in the redundancy process.
