I manage the platform of Drift, the Conversation Cloud company, including the integration systems, routing to chat agents, billing, and enterprise features. Focussing recently on the CRM and MAP integrations like Microsoft Dynamics and Hubspot, ensuring conversation data went to the other platforms, their data was available for conversations in Drift, and ROI was visible to customers.

The product manager working on systems to move, store, classify, query, and catalog data in Twilio. I also am the product manager for Account Insights, letting customers explore their traffic and bill. I work on managing data inside Twilio, building a reliable system that can be trusted with our customer's sensitive data, that works at scale and speed. I am the product manager for the databases behind Twilio's services, data movement inside Twilio, and on GDPR compliance for the sets of data. I also managed the systems that move data internationally, and developed self-service develop-facing tools for Twilio teams to be able to manage their own data.

We founded AppMesh to build a personal CRM system.I worked in the initial idea of AppMesh, tested the ability to work in a mesh network over non-wifi, wrote the specs for the product behavior, screened all the dev and QA in the hiring process, built the prototype for bluetooth dial/sync, but mostly got into the sales professional user's heads, and tried to design a product that they could use seamlessly to accelerate their work, and keep it personal until they decided to share their data with their boss, company or colleagues. I wrote specifications, worked with the designers and developers to create a product that was addicting but could be developed quickly, and then looked at the usage metrics to tune the product in successive releases.I also ran ops on AWS, and designed and built the data warehouse to examine user activity, screen flow, and data storage metrics for each user.

Initially covering both the Analytics and Sandbox functional domains of salesforce.com, managing the productization of Sandbox.Then concentrating on the Analytics in salesforce, designing the Custom Report Type feature, allowing customers to design their own schema when building a report, and then an innovative scheduling system allowing users to choose runtimes for batch-run reports, but remain within overall service protection limits across all customers.Extended the use of dashboards with drill and a redesign in 2009, including the evaluation and licensing of 3rd party charting tool.In 2010 I led the design of the Report Builder, a drag and drop reporting tool with real-time preview, and in 2012 extended that to cover very complex reports with Joined Reports, and additional filtering using other parts of the user's schema - Cross Filters. In developing this, we went from 3 releases a year to a continuously releasable codeline, and were shipping every week with updates and new features.In 2011, I managed both a team working on enlarging the data volumes that can be used in reporting, and expanding report builder to include reporting on multiple objects and automatically join them together, and calculate across them.In 2012, I was working on scalability and performance enhancements to the salesforce.com reporting infrastructure.

Designed Bill Analyzer product, then deployed it to a number of flag-carrier telcos, allowing their business customers to view, query and analyze line activity and bills for all their contracts. Bill Analyzer was a pre-packaged data warehouse, reporting system. and ETL framework for telco bills. Designed to let businesses report on their telco spend, for instance to check for unused handsets, and categorize calls into personal and business.I also deployed the Netonomy core product allowing self-service and self-provisioning.Netonomy was subsequently acquired by Comverse, now called Xura

Working in the office of the chief architect, I worked to ensure the alignment of technical solutions within the Business Objects product groups across the US, UK and France.I also collaborated with the M&A group to establish candidates for, and complete evaluations of, acquisitions in the ETL and EPM space, and the technology template to extend organic add-ons like rapid marts, and integrate newly acquired products.

I ran product management for the WebIntelligence product between version 1.1 and 2.6, designing extensions and changes to the feature set - the first APIs, Audit capabilities, Firewall compatibility, and scaling the server infrastructure, then working with a large technology company onsite to ensure success for their 6000 users.I hired the team of Product Managers to cover the suite of tools and features behind WebIntelligence, and worked to spec out the portal and report consumption features, to design security and portal integrations, and work with the development, QA, documentation and support groups to deliver the solutions.
