A voluntary role for an amazing New Zealand charity bringing accessible, affordable music learning, social skills and self-confidence to New Zealand school students, teachers and communities.Involved in funding applications, fundraising, marketing and communications, budgeting and secretary appointments.

- Providing overall leadership, guidance, strategic direction and advice - Managing the development of a Diversity Work In Progress plan- Ensuring the Network meets the objectives and purpose of the Network - Managing and facilitating communications up to the Executive Sponsors- Presenting the Networks status report, agenda and views of the Network to Senior Management- Be the public face of the Network when required to attend departmental meetings or events in that capacity.

Manager of Cushman & Wakefields environmental and sustainability service offering, Sustainability Solutions in New Zealand.Responsibilities of this role have included the below: - Development and promotion of new service lines to existing and new Clients. - Establishment of operating and capital budgets for the business unit in NZ. - Delivery against agreed EBIT and revenue targets. - Promotion and delivery of services into existing / new Clients (Progressive Enterprises, Mondelez/Cadbury, Westpac, Auckland Council, Victoria University, Auckland Airport, PlaceMakers). - Enhancement of internal capability through establishment of Sustainability and Operational Efficiency Teams throughout DTZ offices in NZ. - Delivery of a range of tailored energy and operational efficiency initiatives to clients including lighting upgrades, HVAC retrofits, waste minimisation strategies, turn-key funding programs.

This role required the management of key Client accounts throughout Australia. The role also required the management of a team of up to 5 client specific Sustainability Advisors. Responsibilities of this position included the following:- Deliver, manage and control the provision of Environmental Services including reporting, performance monitoring, strategic plans, and the implementation of specific environmental improvement initiatives.- National level management of clients including Australia Post, NAB, Victorian Schools, Federal Government (Australia Taxation Office, Dept. of Foreign Affairs & Trade etc).- Assist in the leadership of the Beyond Green Team: process improvement, mentoring, training, business development.- Ensure delivery against both corporate and regulatory (legislative and voluntary) compliance obligations including NGERS, NABERS, EEO, NPI, Environmental Management systems (ISO 14001).- Development of growth opportunities and management of key contract deliverables in New Zealand for Beyond Green.- Manage a team of 5 Environmental Strategy Advisors and Co-ordinators to deliver best quality service.- Deliver ‘thought leadership’ in current and emerging sustainability issues to Beyond Green clients.
