While the way forward is challenging, we must meet these challenges to continue to serve our students.Working in admissions, advising, and marketing communications, I constantly promoted the value of post-secondary education to individual students and rooms full of prospects. I developed and implemented admissions and marketing plans to increase access to higher education while providing sustainable enrollment management. I served as a state-wide leader in student services and enrollment management, including terms as president of the Michigan Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (MACRAO) and the Michigan Community College Admissions Directors (MCCAD) group. Finally, I have the experience - and passion - to help your institution or organization succeed in today's disruptive higher education environment.My experience in higher ed includes time as both a faculty member (teaching computer science and theater arts) and administrator in college admissions and enrollment management. I've also enjoyed success in marketing, social media, web development, writing and editing, public speaking, graphic design, acting, improvisation, and theater directing.I'm particularly interested in prior learning, experiential and co-curricular learning, micro-credentials and badges, competency-based education, and self-learning, because I believe these will be crucial to the future of post-secondary education in North America.Let me know how I can help you and your organization!
