Reporting to the President, this position oversees the daily, mid-range and long-term planning and operations of the Compression Technology Related Manufacturing Sites within the US. The primary responsibilities include continual process improvement to achieve production goals, support of ISO-9001 quality initiatives, management of personnel and resources to achieve production goals, support and implementation of new product lines and plant safety. This position is responsible for manufacturing facilities in Pompano Beach, Florida and support in Houston, Texas. The primary manufacturing processes include high-speed machining centers and press operations, assembly and shipping of highly engineered and customized products.

Manager, Manufacturing Programs Eaton CORP., Madrid, Spain Strategically guided the closure of the Eaton automotive business in South Africa. Transferred production to sister plants, divested of automotive assets, and expertly coordinated customer relationship management, cost control, closure timing and legal obligations. • Defined transfer / exit strategies specific to each customer. Reviewed Eaton’s legal obligations and factored those into negotiations and communications between customers, the 3 plants, and sales.• Achieved zero customer interruptions during the closing and production transfer between the 3 facilities. Designated the plants to produce finished goods to support South Africa as a contingency.• Drove an initiative to ensure that 6 sister plants accepted $800K in South Africa’s machine assets, otherwise a writeoff. Utilized in-depth knowledge of each plant to decide which machinery should be moved to which facility.

Each facility had approximately 400 employees.Also responsible as Project Manager for planning and building the facilities in Queretaro, Mexico and Chomutov, Czech Republic - both greenfield sites. This included site selection, selection of construction company, negotiation of land, construction and subsidy contracts with both private companies, as well as local and national government agencies.
