My team grew from 20 to over 130 members, and I managed a budget of $35 million and direct P&L of $10 million with a topline of $4 million income offset from Franchisee.During my tenure we expanded from $350 million to $4.3 billion in system-wide sales and 285 to 1,777 units in 45 states and Canada. In support of the aggressive growth, I planned, designed and implemented their IT infrastructure and organization while exceeding the company financial and business objectives. In the retail customer environment, I led the IT organization through development and deployment of Panera’s eCommerce platforms, their acclaimed nationwide free public WiFi Network and customer loyalty program.On the business side, the IT organization implemented all core systems supporting Retail, Catering, Franchising and Supply Chain Operations. With 100% adoption of a Standardized POS / BOH platforms, the company and franchise operations were able to operate off the same operating metrics driving long term financial success.

Louisville, Kentucky Area

Supported Papa John’s expansion from $253 million to $1.8 billion in system-wide sales, 1 to 11 countries and 632 to 2,817 units in 49 states.As VP of Information Systems, set the innovative technology/business strategy to support the company’s rapid growth and its long-term development goals. Constructed and installed the foundational computing and communications infrastructure for all domestic and international units, and launched a completely integrated e-Commerce business. Infrastructure included standardized POS systems, state of art data center and Oracles ERP applications. As VP of Support Services for 2 years, responsible for the strategy, direction and daily management of the Support Services division. This division generated $30 million and consisted of a print company and a promotions company with a total of 136 employees that provide products and services to Papa John’s as well as commercial clients such as General Electric. Over a 2 year period, business experienced a sales increase in excess of 100% under my leadership.
