When I first embarked on a career in Business Intelligence at BusinessObjects back in 1998 I fell in love with the product. This love holds true to this day and drives my passion for working with clients to create high quality and effective analytics solutions to turn data into actionable insight. Some people say that my being German explains my tenacity for an attention to detail. I strongly believe that delivering quality results requires a sharp eye for that detail, coupled with an honest and challenging approach. Having worked in a variety of roles over the years, I now work in both technical and advisory roles, as well as leading and managing projects. Given my eye for detail it’s not surprising that my clients see me as a safe pair of hands. More recently I have helped my clients to migrate to SAP BusinessObjects BI 4, integrate with SAP BW and architect reporting solutions.Being calm and dependable, I was often given the “delight” of working with European-wide BusinessObjects projects which were going wrong. Some may see this as a poisoned chalice, whereas I loved the opportunity to get stuck in and turn around a failing project team and project. Being asked to be a troubleshooter on projects still excites me now. As well as BusinessObjects projects I have considerable experience of building and leading effective teams in international, fast paced and changing environments.
