Directed the operations and manufacturing for the Louisville facility. Responsible for assisting and directing sales force, contract approval, budgeting and coordinating efforts of engineering, purchasing, production, field service and shipping/receiving departments. Left the company once it sold to a New York based investor to start a consulting company.

Production responsibilities for the primary crane manufacturing facility and the company’s 5 regional plants. Established and administered the safety program while responsible for meeting requirements of all regulatory agencies. Responsible for production and quality of all associated crane and material handling products and coordination of engineering activity as it related to production. Supervised maintenance and facility department, prepared annual budget ($6.5 million, less COG) established and coordinated the production schedule for the 6 facilities; communicated requirements to material, sales, engineering, production departments and company representative on government and NASA projects with regard to product quality requirements. Successfully negotiated contracts for the company with the Teamster's Union.

Directed plant engineering for Alside’s 600,000 sq. ft. plant while developing new production lines in the satellite facilities . Managed the $1.2 million machine shop budget, supervised maintenance, tool and die, supply and engineering departments. Assistant to the Plant Manager with daily operations of 2 strip mills, 22 forming machines and 2 paint lines.

Coordinated and directed the activities of 20-30 craftsmen per shift. Served on the Labor and Management Participation Team. Wrote the Job Safety Analysis Procedures for all maintenance jobs in the 84 inch Hot Strip Mill.
