Hi, I’m Tom Leach.I’ve been telling stories for as long as I can remember—whether producing TV shows, launching disruptive brands, or creating global campaigns that unlock hundreds of millions of dollars in funding. Storytelling isn’t just something I do—it’s how I build businesses, brands, and experiences that resonate.I got my start under mega-producer Mark Burnett, working in development and current programming on shows like SURVIVOR, THE VOICE, CELEBRITY APPRENTICE, and SHARK TANK. I didn’t create those shows, but being around such powerhouse teams was like getting an MBA in storytelling and business strategy—without the tuition bill.By 26, Mark promoted me to his youngest-ever VP of Development & Current Programming, where I helped create, develop, and sell original unscripted TV series with icons like Sir Richard Branson, James Cameron, and Dick Wolf. Working with some of the most brilliant storytellers taught me to think bigger, move faster, and always bet on great stories.In 2014, I declined a multi-year contract extension to launch Media RED—a creative agency built on the belief that business strategy and storytelling aren’t just connected—they’re inseparable.We partnered early with founders behind brands like Liquid I.V. and The Long Drink, helping craft their stories and positioning while they were still in their infancy. Watching those brands grow into nine-figure businesses has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Later, companies like Marriott, Comcast NBCU, Red Bull, and Sony hired us to elevate their storytelling and drive results.Our work producing FOOD 2050, a global documentary narrated by EGOT-winner Viola Davis and backed by the Rockefeller Foundation, helped unlock $105M to reshape food systems for 40+ million people. It reinforced what I’ve always believed: the right story, backed by the right strategy, can change everything.Forbes named me among “the entrepreneurial, creative and intellectual best of generation.” Similarly, Inc. Magazine recognized Media RED as Best in Business for storytelling, marketing, and sparking global change.Recently, I launched Branded Blue, a next-gen CPG incubator creating better-for-you beverages and lifestyle brands.
