Software Engineer with a passion for web development. I've been making websites since the days of web safe colors, table-based layouts, and double-margin float bugs. Since 2012 I've been helping build an online marketplace at EnergySage primarily leveraging Python and the Django framework (and more recently ES6 and the Nuxt framework).Experience old-to-new:- HTML4 & XHTML 1.1 (if you're website doesn't have a validation badge are you even a web developer?)- Wordpress & PHP- CSS2 & Float-based layouts (so thankful for CSS3 & modern layout features)- HTML Email templates (the dream of early 2000's table based layout is still alive in email clients!)- REST APIs (HATEOAS architecture in particular)- SASS/Compass- jQuery, Underscore, Backbone- ES6, Webpack, Vue.js- node.js, NuxtOther things I'm passionate about:- Design Systems- Responsive & Mobile First Design- A11y- Performance- Linux- Free/Libre Open Source Software (and hardware)- The environmentOther things I've encountered in my quixotic journey:- Photoshop- VIM- Git- Assembly (x86)- C/C++- C#, XNA, & .NET- SQL- LaTeX
