I opened the first flagship store for this multi channel nursery retailer. The store was a 33,500 sq ft out of town retail unit, adjacent to a primary competitor, Mothercare and with an annual turnover of £8m.• Successfully helped build the retail pre opening plan and the customer journey plan• Created a daily store operations diary to feedback enhancements for successive store openings• Managed the induction and 6 week training programme for the full team comprising store orientation, specialist product knowledge, selling skills and leadership behaviours• Managed the visual merchandising of the store from contractor handover to launch day• Managed the implementation of stock control, cash management and labour scheduling systems• Supervised the training in new technology prior to opening and supported its fulfilment post launch• Developed key supplier partnerships to further support product awareness post opening

A high profile store, sharing offices with the regional director, which required a highly commercial sales floor with great visual merchandising and flair.Project managed a 4 week, £0.5m refit of the store in June 2012 achieving the best sales uplift for a relaunch week.
