About Jason Tomlinson
I am a very experienced law school teacher, having previously worked in postgraduate education and I am now Subject Head at Kaplan working on the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme (QLTS) and Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE).Having qualified as a Property solicitor with a City law firm, I worked for a number of years with that firm in private practice before working as an in-house Property solicitor for two retailers and also as a professional support lawyer in Real Estate for a City law firm.I have worked as a lecturer for BPP Law School and Kaplan Law School where I specialised in Property and Advanced Commercial Property on the Legal Practice Course (LPC)(and also in Land Law on the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) while at Kaplan Law School). In addition, I worked for Kaplan delivering the Professional Skills Course for trainees and assessing for the QLTS. Subsequently, I worked for the University of Law teaching Land Law and Public Law on the GDL and Property and Private Acquisitions on the LPC. Now, I am back with Kaplan as Subject Head on the QLTS/SQE.
