...I am an experienced administrator with a demonstrated success and accomplishment in change management, organizational performance improvement, and public service who is seeking employment opportunities with organizations with whom my skill set will provide a value added contribution....I have extensive experience working with legislators, members of organized labor, members of the employer community, constituents, and other stakeholders....I was the Director of the Division of Unemployment Insurance for the State of Delaware for almost 29 years. Was responsible for overseeing the administration and provision of unemployment insurance program services to unemployed Delawareans and to the Delaware business community. Also served as chairperson of the Delaware Unemployment Unemployment Compensation Advisory Council comprised of two members of the Governor's cabinet, four members of the state legislature, two representatives from the state's business community, and two representatives from organized labor....Served as Delaware Department of Labor's subject matter expert during the statewide "Government Performance Review" mandated by Governor Markell during his first term. The purpose of this review was to look at state government services using a structured approach to identify possible action steps for savings, improved customer service, and new sources of funding/revenues....During my tenure as the director of the Delaware Division of Unemployment Insurance, I received the Delaware Secretary of Labor's Award for Outstanding Achievement and the Delaware Secretary of Labor's Award for Special Contribution....Served as Acting Secretary of Labor for two Delaware governors.... Most recently, I was a member of the state staff of U.S. Senator Tom Carper (DE) focusing on addressing and revolving constituent issues with state and federal agencies.
