After more than five years building my law firm Maddrey PLLC to help creatives and creative businesses grow and thrive, I have made the bittersweet decision to wind down my firm and step into an unbelievably exciting role: General Counsel and Head of National Content and Education at the American Society of Media Photographers. I am so proud to be part of their mission, and I can't wait to get to work. Additionally, I will be continuing to help assist individuals and businesses in strategizing their intellectual property plans and systems, and providing expert witness and litigation support in the areas of copyright and photography, through my new platform Maddrey Creative Consulting. I am humbled and honored to have the opportunity to take on these roles, and I hope we can connect soon.
