About Tom Marcus

Working in sales and account management since I was 18 years of age. I love what I do, key to loving it is finding the solutions for the customers needs and having customer empathy and passion.. During my youth I was hired with a pending date for the L.A. Sheriffs Dept. I had time to find what I was meant to do, and Sales is the thing that makes me tick. I have been through many training courses and have read nearly every book written on sales, account management and how to be successful. Continue reading, researching and learning is essential. You have to always keep sharpening your skills daily. The reason I do this, is to be the best. I strive to be the top performer in everything I do, for I can be the only one that controls my destiny.I love people, I love finding what THEY want and helping them achieve that goal, if you do this well, you will be amazed to what degree that you will find yourself on with a client. Building a relationship is truly a talent of mine, I always make this a priority in every encounter I have with potential clients and clients. I have learned from classes and books such as Miller Heiman, Joe Verde, Dale Carnegie, Sandler, ESS, Spin Selling, Conceptual Selling, Evolution of Sales, Six Sigma and MANY more. These are all tools, my goal is to never stop learning so I can give our sales team the best way to be successful. The funny thing is being I have been to many classes and read many books, I learn the most from the people I train by listening to them and their needs. Coaching and Training is essential to any sales professionals development, the key is to have consistent, ongoing training that never stops.
