I'm working at XPeppers (http://www.xpeppers.com/), an italian start-up whose mission is to expandknowledge of agile methods in all projects involved. XPeppers was born as a transfer of part of anenterprise which include companies like Sourcesense and Pronetics.In the last experience (starting from June 2010) I was involved in rewriting from scratch anelectronic payment system for one of the biggest player in Italy (Setefi - Intesa San Paolo Bank).This product includes an MPI (Merchant Plug-In) and an ACS (Access Control Service) in order toauthenticate all 3DSecure credit cards.My work replaced the legacy system at 100% and it's currently on production. Some recent featuresregards the introduction of Masterpass Wallet, the application of Payment Card Industry DataSecurity Standards and the improvements on database performances.

This software is actually inproduction. It regards hardware connections with pumps, an algorithm that chooses the bestallocation of truck on pumps in order to maximize the total load and the waiting time ofdrivers, and other aspects like the order receipt, a web app to check the current status of theplant.

First work experience at Quinary S.p.A. (www.quinary.com) inside XPlayer team, one of the first team in Italy that tried eXtreme Programming. The main contribution was a project called "XPTracking", which facilitates the planning and monitoring of projects and the collection and analysis of metrics. Other projects were related to the world of communications technology, including the development of midlet, server-side applications, and the maintenance and development of the Sole24Ore Shopping portal.
