I am a proven leader with a diverse background in both small and large business settings, including business development, consulting, and turnaround. I am strong in problem solving, seeing around corners and delivering financial results. In my first year after taking over a struggling emergency and specialty hospital, revenues climbed over 50%, and EBITDA increased almost 250%, while regrettable turnover was nearly eliminated.It was as a manager with Procter & Gamble where I began my journey in understanding how to effectively lead an organization. It was there that I developed my core belief that by focusing on the people first, business results will follow. To me this means identifying and hiring the people that most support the desired culture of the organization, treating them fairly, honestly and transparently, and then trusting and supporting them to accomplish their individual objectives. Moving into the veterinary space, I continued to hone those leadership skills and people management skills, this time in a much smaller and more intimate working environment.As the first stand-alone veterinary rehabilitation clinic, TOPS' seeded the development of a completely new and robust channel within the veterinary space. After divesting the business to Pathway Vet Alliance in 2019 and continuing on in a management capacity, I added to my responsibilities executive management of a 24 hour emergency and specialty hospital with a history of management and financial challenges. My hospitals have both thrived financially and from a human resource / culture point of view, experiencing record financial growth with minimal regrettable turn.
