I served as the the Delivery Lead of our Application Development Service Line in Finland. I performed QA on on-going deliveries and tracked work practices, methodology usage, etc. When necessary, I took a more active role in supporting individual projects with their day-to-day work.In customer-facing projects, I worked in the finance sector as the project manager of an agile CRM development project. I was responsible for setting up our agile practice, overseeing our delivery and for supporting our product owner in backlog management. I also planned and oversaw our production installations (go-lives). My secondary responsibility was that of a Technical Account Manager, supporting our business development and tracking e.g. employee satisfaction and driving process improvement initiatives.

My role between 2013-2014 was as the project manager of a very large multi-site delivery in the pension insurance sector. My responsibilities included risk assessment/mitigation, work planning, off-shore coordination, cross-team collaboration, customer interaction and scope management. I was also responsible for coordinating the technical go-live of our application portfolio. At its peak our team size was well over 30 people. The project was successfully delivered into production as planned.

In 2012 I served as the technical team lead for two parallel projects in the pension insurance sector. My responsibilities focused on managing our delivery, supporting our local team and ramping up our off-shore capability. In August 2012 I took on the role of project manager in the second phase of one of these projects. Between September 2010 - September 2011 I led an application maintenance team at a government engagement supporting a complex case management system. I was responsible for creating and setting up our processes for handling support requests and creating our reporting mechanisms.

In 2010 I worked at a government engagement. There I led our performance investigation effort on a complex case management system used by many public authorities in Finland.Between 2007-2009 I lead a small team responsible for maintenance and development of an ASP.NET 2.0 web application that handled credit card transactions for reporting purposes. My responsibilities included both project management tasks and technical tasks ranging from requirements analysis to actual implementation and test planning. During the time the project was under my management, we reduced the amount of maintenance work by 80%.

I worked with the same customer from the passenger traffic industry for the entire duration of my employment. My main focus was on design and continued development of C++ and J2EE solutions and maintenance work related to those technologies. The solutions themselves were very complex, amounting to over 500 000 lines of code.
