This progresses through iterative prototype development all the way to detail design to support mass manufacture, while always keeping the client informed on the project progress.Fully licenced to support Solidworks and Adobe projects, as well as Microsoft Office and other software packages, and can provide in-house 3D printing services.

Accountable for the design and engineering delivery for complex projects in the new product development group across the full development process from the initial concept through to part sign off and mass production. Early stage product development has seen me working closely with research, strategy, UX and service design functions to define the key functionality of new concepts which deliver on the business' core principle to create extraordinary products that improve women's lives.More recently I was asked to fulfil the role of Design manager within the Continuous Improvement function to manage business critical risks in the face of the unprecedented economic climate of 2022 and the global silicon chip shortage. Here I am accountable for managing an engineering team tasked with developing solutions to all production line and reliability issues relating to our flagship breastfeeding product; Elvie Pump. This role is crucial to maintaining production at our overseas manufacturing plants by simultaneously delivering on multiple high pressure projects. Tasks include verifying alternative electronic components, managing an increasingly complex BOM, approving all engineering change documentation in line with medical product regulations and communicating regularly to stakeholders within the business. My team are also combating all reliability issues and margin improvement projects on Elvie Pump. This includes tasks such as managing engineering sprints, modifying part design through tool changes, improving production line efficiencies and developing new test methods and specifications.
