Supervised the installation, operation and maintenance of a command post node (CPN) and Satellite Transportable Terminal (STT) team, in an expeditionary telecommunications company. Facilitated and supervised the preventive maintenance and services on assigned communications equipment, vehicles, and power generators. Provided leadership, instruction, and supervision for a team of US Army Soldiers during on post and off post company designated missions.

Planned, developed, and coordinated communication and promotional materials for a 4,000 personnel, Military Aviation Community. Told the US Army story to a global audience through compelling photography, documentary video and written stories. Developed social media and public web presence. Had multiple photos and videos featured on the US Army Facebook page garnering over 200,000 views and 5,000 shares. Produced a 30 minute documentary video which was praised by an attending US Army General, along with everyone in attendance. Revamped the companies public affairs office and media archive comprising of over 90,000 items.

Performed, as a Housing Management Supervisor for a strategically responsive garrison within the Installation Management Command (IMCOM) comprised of a Division Headquarters. Led a team in developing overall installation housing plans and procedures for barracks administration, tenant relations, assignment and termination procedures, eligibility requirements, occupancy practices maintenance and repair programs, current and long range plans, and related barracks activities for over 500 Unaccompanied Housing/Single Soldier Housing spaces on post. Served as liaison between the Housing Division, Military Units and others regarding billeting resources.

During my last three months of transitioning out of the U.S. Army, I worked as a photographer for Shift, in San Francisco. I developed and coordinated the “Vets in Silicon Valley” series, which was published as social media content on Medium.com and LinkedIn.Shift is a recruiting pipeline that gives companies direct access to exceptional military veterans. Served as a fiber optics supervisor, during Operation Enduring Freedom XI-XII and Operation Valiant Return, on a Forward Operating Base (FOB). Facilitated the planning and implementation of several vital fiber optic missions across a tactical environment. Prevented the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited the smuggling of illegal goods and drugs at various Observation Towers on a FOB, for over 1,800 hours. Provided leadership, instruction, and supervision for a team of US Army Soldiers.

Installed, operated, and maintained strategic and tactical multi-channel satellite communications ground terminals, systems, networks, communication security (COMSEC) devices, and associated equipment. Operated and performed preventive maintenance checks and services on assigned communications equipment, vehicles, and power generators. Identified and installed new cabling on faulty communication equipment.

Responsible for all Marketing and Graphic Design to include Print, Email marketing, Google and Yahoo online marketing as well as entire website design, product photography and coding. Job responsibilities also included customer management and sales in Central and South America, New Zealand, Australia and southwestern United States; to include all Spanish speaking customers.
